Chung's Demonstration Team:
GET THE CHANCE TO PERFORM AND BRING THE BEST OUT OF YOURSELF
The Chung’s Martial Arts Demonstration Team has a goal of showing those watching the very best our school has to offer.
BUILD SELF-CONFIDENCE AND SELF-ESTEEM
If your child needs a creative outlet and their self-esteem would benefit from some structured learning and team building, you may want to consider bringing them to us.
BE A PART OF A TEAM AND LEARN TEAM-BUILDING SKILLS
Here, demo team doesn’t mean just an extra class and a fancy uniform. You can find that just about anywhere. We set up our demonstrations and focus on the individual skill sets of the members of the team.

MY CHILD HAS UNDERDEVELOPED SOCIAL SKILLS

MY CHILD HAS ANGER ISSUES
Maybe your child is quiet but exhibits good concentration and just needs to be “brought out of their shell”; they may be right for the Forms Team or Self-Defense. Maybe your child has a ton of energy and needs a goal to focus on; they may be right for the Sparring Team or Pad Striking Team.
MY CHILD DOESN’T GRAVITATE TOWARD TRADITIONAL SPORTS BUT I WANT THEM TO BE A PART OF SOMETHING SPECIAL
Maybe your child has an interest in performing and has good coordination; they may be right for the Board Breaking Team or the Weapons Team.

BE RESPONSIBLE
-
BE YOUR BEST
-
BE DEPENDABLE
Like any team worth being a part of, you have to earn your spot on the team. There are tryouts, practices and set performance dates that come with participation. The other team members depend on you and you will be part of something special. So, if this sounds like something that interests you or your child, talk to a member of that staff about when the next tryout or practice is taking place.

Our Results in Numbers
A 1985 study found that children in martial arts have an increased sense of responsibili-
ty, and a higher sense of self-esteem.
